Egwene: Spray bottle I’m a little fucking busy leading a revolt and preparing the world for last battle - piss off.
I’m howling
First read started in 2003 and went til 2007 when Jordan died ending on book 11.
Waited for Sanderson to finish it. Started again from book 1 in 2011ish, finished it all by 2014/2015… While doing my M.Sc lol.
Started it again in 2020? Got almost all the way though book 9 and set it down.
Picked up Malazan Book of the fallen on audio books and got 75% book 8 and couldn’t hack it - too abstract, to wide and long of arcs for shitty characters I didn’t care for.
Now I am starting the wheel again. I’m going to skim book 9/10 for relevant parts this time around fully skip the hunt for that dumb bitch
I’m with you. I used to use a lot more parentheses, but the break is cleaner. I opt for en dashes, though, because I find too em dashes to be too long. That could just be a MSWord preference because I don’t distinguish on other platforms.
Strict for strict’s sake is bullshit. Holding your kids accountable for their actions, enforcing boundaries, and channeling their energy into productive ventures might be considered strict, but that’s good parenting in my book.
Nigel powers: look at you, you don’t even have a name tag! You don’t stand a chance. Put your guns down. That’s right, put them down on the floor.
I thought it was goth mommies that would do me in. Hoo boy was I wrong

But you could use one I think, and then have that colour isolated and then dump it somewhere
Where is the fucking moth flying towards this?
As in using the colour picker on the image and finding the corresponding code? That’s actually an explanation that I can get behind. Classic example of trust your instrument.
I see the dress as gold and white, no matter ehow hard I try to see the other side of the coin.

Easily the weirdest demonstration of the. ‘polluter pays’ principle
The first statement implies that fascists are deserving of equal rights as everyone else. This don’t the case, though, because what they want is the destruction of other people’s rights.
Fascists don’t play by the rules, because they don’t think they apply to them or they are inconvenient. If they rules don’t apply to you then they don’t apply to you. Can’t have it both ways.
Thanks!
Makes it make a lot more sense. Hot take, but you shouldn’t be downvoted for it
Solid meme, but I don’t quite get it
Honestly, I like the first few. They were great. Memories of Ice (book 3?) was possibly the best one.
I just find it tried to cover too much and because of this the story is scattershot. I get that this part of his style but still, I don’t give two shits about Nenander Gullet or Clip, yet I have nearly a full book dedicated to them.
