Sudo is like the safety on a firearm. It’s there to hopefully prevent you from shooting yourself in the foot. It won’t stop you if you’re determined enough, though.
I don’t know, I have to use SUDO so much that I would never think twice about it if what I was doing was unwittingly dangerous, you even have to su to the root user enough that I wouldn’t think to hard about it.
Me when I put my gun in the holster with the safety off, then accidentally blow my own foot off
