Remind me again what these “peacekeepers” did when Israeli violated the ceasefire. The one Israel violates to this day.

Remind me what they did when Israel shot at the “peacekeepers”

Also Ireland is only anti Israel in rhetoric.

They put forward legislation to ban trade with the occupied territories. In response, they got threatened with crippling economic action by their largest trading partner, the United States. A smear campaign in the US is also ongoing. In spite of that, the legislation is still moving forwards.

Good luck with imposing sanctions on one EU member state and not the other 27.

Imagine not implementing a full ban on a genocidal state. Also imagine not even passing it yet.

Imagine Slovenia passing a full weapons embargo on Israel while Ireland transports weapons to Israel over their airspace.

Imagine not watching the video of an Irish person debunking the nonsense that their government is not ran by Zionists.

Pretty much everything anti-Israel in the EU is backed by Ireland. The fact that there are enough Zionist voices to drown them out a lot of the time doesn’t change that fact.

And Spain, which is why Germany has yet to bring a measure to censure Ireland in the EU (in the way Hungary has been censured for rule-of-law failures).

            Except guarding Israel against Hezbollah.

And transporting weapons to Israel for the genocide.

Ireland is all talk and little action. The Irish oppose Israel. But the Irish government is compromised.

Uh… Israel kinda sorta really hates UNIFIL. Now UNIFIL isn’t fundamentally changing anything, but it’s been consistently a pain in their ass because they can’t just fire at Western peacekeepers.

Israeli forces fire on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon

UNFIL gladly fought Hezbollah for Israel. They even bought Israeli weapons like UZIs. UNFIL had one job when Israel invaded and it wasn not ‘abandon all posts’

You are dreaming if you think UNFIL does not work for Israel. Even their territories are 0% Israeli

Israeli forces fire on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon

Notice that no actual UN soldiers were fired at; it’s just equipment. Now imagine if those were Lebanese—or worse, Palestinian. The whole thing is pretty farcical don’t get me wrong, but it’s an occasionally useful farce, which is why Israel fucking hates them. See “assessment and controversy” and “confrontations” sections. It’s also no coincidence that so many incidents of UNIFIL soldiers dying were perpetrated by Israel or SLA.

UNFIL gladly fought Hezbollah for Israel.

          Examples?

            https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/un-peacekeepers-wounded-israeli-fire-southern-lebanon

Where is the Blue zone? Is any of it inside of Israel. Multiple articles about clashes with Hezbollah are easily found.

UNFIL should have fired back at Israel. They bitched out. Because they cannot fire at their bosses.

  • Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think “Is this fair use?”, it probably isn’t. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

  • Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed. Sources that have a Low or Very Low factual reporting rating or MBFC Credibility Rating may be removed.

  • Rule 4: Posts or comments that are homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, anti-religious, or ableist will be removed. “Ironic” prejudice is just prejudiced.

Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.

Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to “Mom! He’s bugging me!” and “I’m not touching you!” Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

  • Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.

  • Rule 7: We didn’t USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you’re posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
