I’m in TN right now visiting a friend, and we took a stroll through a few historic sites/battlegrounds/cemetaries for memorial day yesterday.
Was surprised to see that there were a handful of graves with fresh confederate flags erected next to them
I hope someone came and removed the litter.

In fairness, no self-respecting army would carry a surrender flag with them. They would just improvise if they needed one…
