    No, they wouldnt. Sustainable production costs more, making the product cost more.

    Then everyone just buys from someone else with the cheapest price. It’s capitalism as intended.

        Well what do you propose? Ban Chinese and Indian goods? Are you buying it yourself?

        Also, the list is much longer than China and India.

          If the west can do it why can’t they? Frankly they don’t give a shit. If they don’t feel the need to improve from within then its pointless for anyone in a developed country to compensate for those not willing to improve sustainability

          And yes, I don’t buy. Maybe some trace components in the few electronic devices I have but that’s it.

            I think you misunderstand the Wests position in this. We are the ones who funnel all our production and money to them for doing the dirty work.

            If they dont do it, the West will find someone who will. There’s too much money involved.
