I wake up with fairly severe nausea every day and it lasts until I eat something.

How close to bedtime do you eat? I eat milk curd (21g of protein) mixed with protein powder (42g) around 1h before going to sleep and i wake up fine.

We usually eat at 7:30, though I tend to snack afterwards. It’s very confusing for sure.

Sounds like Intermittent fasting is not a tool for you, there are other avenues to weight loss. The core is being in caloric deficit, how much and how long will depend on the individual. Hope you can find a solution for weightloss journey. If you want to discuss some ideas feel free, its somthing I’m very interested in and currently on my own journey

It’s really the only place where I have sufficient willpower to exert an influence.
