I’ve never encountered the term, but a quick DDG search returns a few results suggest it’s the male equivalent of “catfished.” (I would have thought the term was gender neutral, but no one asked me.)

Maybe the opposite of catfished? Instead of claiming to be a pretty girl you’re pretending to be a handsome guy?

I think it’s a guy posting pics of internet dicks instead of their own (unlike I have) to make himself out to a bigger pole to real in women. That’s about all the fishing puns I’ll use.
