Depending on how far you need to travel, just bring a 5 gallon bucket with a hole cut in the bottom. Flip it over and shit through the hole. Portable toilet.
Go to bed earlier
Never leave your tent open longer than the time necessary to get in or out of it.
Store your equipment in sealed containers when not in use (make sure to wash and dry it first!)
Self-inflating sleeping pad + better tent location solves the painful and damp sleeping conditions.
You can have an equally bad time staying at a hotel, if you do it wrong too.

I’ve got a bunch of AVD machines and the Windows app seems to be the best way to connect users to them.
Although, in the last week, it’s been freezing for some people and I have to switch them over to the web portal for a day or two. Still chasing that issue down.
When Windows 12 is also sucks.
TBF, they are probably losing a little bit. I’m in the process of jumping to Linux, and I started on Microsoft operating systems at age 4.
Let me tell you about deleting a resource group in azure where it thinks a non-existent resource in that group is assigned to a subnet that is also in that group.
This is the same company that has Outlook, Outlook.com, Free email app called outlook, and New Outlook… And none of them are the same fucking thing.

I’d like to have laws that require AI companies to publicly list their sources/training materials.
I’d like to see laws defining what counts as AI, and then banning advertising non-compliant software and hardware as “AI”.
I’d like to see laws banning the use of generative AI for creating misleading political, social, or legal materials.
My big problems with AI right now, are that we don’t know what info has been scooped up by them. Companies are pushing misleading products as AI, while constantly overstating the capabilities and under-delivering, which will damage the AI industry as a whole. I’d also want to see protections to keep stupid and vulnerable people from believing AI generated content is real. Remember, a few years ago, we had to convince people not to eat tidepods. AI can be a very powerful tool for manipulating the ranks of stupid people.

Absolutely.
I’ve got a car with level 2 automation, and after using it for a few months, I can say that it works really well, but you still need to be engaged to drive the car.
What it is good at… Maintaining lanes, even in tricky situation with poor paint/markings. Maintaining speed and distance from the car in front of you.
What it is not good at… Tricky traffic, congestion, or sudden stops. Lang changes. Accounting for cars coming up behind you. Avoiding road hazards.
I use it mostly like an autopilot. The car takes some of the monotonous workload out of driving, which allows me to move my focus from driving the car to observing traffic, other drivers, and road conditions.
