If by “someone” you mean man.
You should be aware this is an extremely American sentiment bordering on ignorant. Nowhere else in the world do you find people berating people for letting cats go outside.
Even in America, you won’t find it. It’s only coming from chronically-online people who are afraid of everything.
I’m sure if you could communicate the dangers to your cats, most of them would still choose to go outside. Locking cats indoors their entire lives is cruel.
If you really think the US will struggle to host the olympics, it might be time to leave the basement once in a while.

Be a role model for even a single kid. Gain their respect so they want to learn your wisdom. An afternoon of doing anything with a kid who respects you can do more than months of school. Teach them how to be upstanding and how to think.
The other part is teachers need to organize a new system in which teachers are in charge of teaching. It’ll never happen unless you start. Sitting around and bitching about the education system for going on decades now is just pathetic.

It’s not working. It’s clear it’s not working. Change will never come from the top, because like you said, they will never voluntarily change it. So it must come from the bottom.

chunes@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•It's Breathtaking How Fast AI Is Screwing Up the Education SystemEnglish15·6 days agoThe article is specifically about the USA. That’s what I’m talking about too.
chunes@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•It's Breathtaking How Fast AI Is Screwing Up the Education SystemEnglish412·6 days agoMy point exactly. You won’t find good teachers in public education.
chunes@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•It's Breathtaking How Fast AI Is Screwing Up the Education SystemEnglish816·6 days agoOh no, maybe teachers will have to put effort into their students beyond assigning homework that an AI can do.
