That’s not nice to talk about your mom that way.

As an 80s kid who endured DARE since – what 1988? – I wanted to let everyone know that I read this post and comments while being high.
It says “most brilliant mathematicians an computer scientists”, not English majors. /s
This would give better meaning to the various colors of sabers; as in the level of intensity…
In my experience, some questions should remain unanswered.
Weekend? Amateurs. I train every day. Sometimes twice a day.
I’ve got nipples. Can you milk me, Greg?
Yes. I was strongly agreeing with you.
Personally, people just need to learn to mind their own fucking business and stop trying to control what other people do, say, and feel. If it makes someone feel good and happy to love someone of the same sex, go for it.
Or as my granny used to say, paraphrased for modern times, “if you can’t say anything nice, then shut the ever-loving fuck up.”
- The way you phrased your question is neither rude, nor stupid. It’s a valid question.
- Yes, a lot of people like to humanize objects. It makes them fun and/or relatable. It’s not much different than seeing shapes in clouds.
My fed ex people like to put my big/heavy packages right in front of my glass door that very obviously opens out and not in, which blocks my ability to open the door. 😡
I’ve lived in several different areas of my city, and even moved to a different county and lived in three different places in the new county. Unless I have beat the odds and gotten the same driver each time I’ve been unlucky to use fedex (usually not by choice), I’d lean more toward it’s a company problem and the drivers are merely a symptom (or victim).
Anecdotally, I’ve never heard horror stories about FedEx like I’ve heard about Amazon, and yet Amazon still does a decent job with deliveries; not perfect, but orders of magnitude better than FedEx. That tells me how much worse it must be to work at FedEx.
I cannot impress upon you all how much I loathe FedEx. I feel like they go out of their way to mess things up.

They’re not hallucinations. They are fabrications; lies. We should not be romanticizing a robot lying to us.

I feel it’s equally important to point ot that Torvalds recognized his toxic behavior, apologized for it, and took steps to rectify it.
In an email to the Linux Kernel Mailing List, which also addresses the kernel update of Linux 4.19-rc4, Torvalds writes: “I need to change some of my behavior, and I want to apologize to the people that my personal behavior hurt and possibly drove away from kernel development entirely.”
“I am going to take time off and get some assistance on how to understand people’s emotions and respond appropriately.”
I would imagine there is a population is users who have apps that allow compact post listing where the only thing they have is a title to interact with.
~But I guess if you’re into eating legos, you probably don’t care about that sort of thing.~
