Is ⛓️ for people in prison?

I’ve hit the limit on safari tabs on my phone multiple times. When you open something in a new tab at that point, it just cannibalizes a tab you haven’t visited recently, but you can use the back button to find out what it was.

If and when you get around to looking at it, you’ll love everything you see. A mood hack I discovered is to look at saved posts in a random order, because I forget about everything, so it’s like a perfectly curated feed.

All I can see is a bag that my brain has identified as frankincense in the center console. Actually, I looked it up and I’m siding with my brain on this one, that does look like frankincense.

I’m going to be honest, seeing a palmetto bug in person would probably make me think I’d traveled back to a more oxygen rich atmosphere for a second. I’m not generally squicky about bugs that don’t harm you, but I think that would activate a new part of my brain.

Iirc, you can only choose red, blue, black, and green. Maybe other colors are possible, but not preferred (I can see a white passport looking pretty rough after a couple years, if you’re a heavy traveler). No idea why they wouldn’t stick with red though.

Two days after breaking up, I found out that my ex had lied to me about everything about himself, and had gotten out of prison for beating his mother to death shortly before we met. I met him because he had been a canvasser with a friend of mine (also concerning, tbh), and he just fit right into her friend group, and nobody had any information about his life before that. Once we started comparing stories after we found out, it all clicked into place.

Even worse, he killed his mom after she tried to give him some tough love (it sounded like normal, healthy parenting from the reports) about drinking too much and I broke up with him for the same reason. I was certain he was going to kill me for a while there, but that’s no longer a worry because I live in another country and he can’t get a passport.
