5·22 hours agoWe are talking about a driver for the Xbox One wireless adapter.
Microsoft never submitted a kernel driver for this, it’s a third party module. It’s not Bluetooth - it’s WiFi, using a proprietary blob for authentication.
Not a single one of your claims in this entire thread have been correct.
This isn’t a Bluetooth adapter.
That’s how little you know about the subject you’re trying to rant about.
The wireless adapter functions extremely well and is no different than any Wi-Fi 2.4GHz dongle, in essence.
This driver also works really well.
I fail to see how two things working well together somehow results in your rant.
3·2 days agoMake sure users trust it so much they can no longer discern hallucinations and lies from reality, then keep the AI training on content generated by itself.
I don’t see how this will replace Vortex if they keep going down this route of game-specific implementations.
It could sure be a good mod manager, but not a replacement for Vortex. It’s taking ages to support what, 5 titles?

I can download a free game on Steam and not download the paid DLC that unlocks whatever feature. How’s that hard to grasp compared to this piece of software?
Yeah? That’s how every purchase on Steam works? I don’t recall being forced to buy any game or DLC

“Optional non-recurring purchase” means buying something once lol, of course Steam lets you buy stuff.
Potentially a collaboration/society of existing employees. That would be the best alternative for those hoping to keep Valve as the Valve we already know.
Because his son is completely uninterested, he’s entirely focused on racing cars, which if fair enough, but likely means he would simply sell the company given the chance.
