Also, I’d really like to know who made the art. I’ve tried reverse image search and it just comes back to this meme.

man, as someone who trips occasionally i would either have to have a big conversation with a friend like that afterwards, or cut contact entirely if it was just some casual acquaintance. i hope it’s just a result of ignorance of how psychedelics work, instead of outright malice, but your mood on acid is heavily influenced by your set and setting (state of mind and environment), and horror media is certainly not something that nurtures good vibes. if someone was prone to indulging negative emotions, this could send them down a bad trip lane, and those can range from a whack afternoon feeling down, through psychological scarring, all the way down to triggering psychosis

be kind to your tripping friends, you can try to freak them out when they’re sober if that’s the dynamic in your friendship, but don’t do it when they’re under the influence of drugs that majorly fuck with the mind

I honestly think people underestimate how much they’re influenced by this kind of thing in a neutral, sober state. But marketing doesn’t.

If we were discussing reality I would agree with you. But it’s a joke meme. I’m decently sure that if you do trip you have a support/friend group that is aware of that and would supply you with what they asked for.

i understand it’s a joke meme, but does everyone?

there will definitely be at least one person out there who sees this and thinks “haha that’s funny, i’ll do it too if i have a chance”. and i do hope they read what i wrote before having an opportunity like that

If I still partook I’d say the same. That image in particular would prolly have me giggling for a good part of the trip. I did stupid amounts of acid, read fantasy books, and even talked people down who were on less than me, 1, some dude who owed money to people we knew (no we had no intention of collecting for them, didn’t even know he knew them until he said something) and 2, an exgf, also babysat 1 person that was given some but not told. NEVER slip someone acid and leave them, didn’t exactly ruin our trip but did drastically changed the plans for that evening

You answer back and keep referring to them as Kevin (if his name isn’t Kevin) and just make up a bunch of stuff telling him that his family want him to come home, his wife and three children haven’t seen him in three years since the day they took him to the asylum for accidently killing his brother in that chainsaw accident.

i know you’re joking but please do not do that. depending on the dose, timing, and the person, they could actually believe that, and believing delusions is incredibly dangerous, you could accidently trigger a psychotic episode

Also, I’d really like to know who made the art.

I choose to believe the person on the other end of that text conversation fired up Gimp and made the image when they got the request for “funny shit”.
