i don’t think i knew of anyone ever actually using the showers at my high school.

We had open showers. No one ever showered though. It’s not like we had enough time between classes anyway.

Maybe I’m the only one old enough to remember them, but yeah unfortunately there were still open showers. It sucked because I was never anywhere near the same size as other boys. I swore I was surrounded by human tripods LoL 🤣

They had them in the main gym locker rooms, but those were basically never used because there wasn’t time been classes. During the 6 weeks of gym class that were devoted to swimming, everyone showered to get rid of the chlorine smell. And class was ended 5-10 minutes early to give time to shower.

No. We had showers, but nobody ever used them and nobody was forced to use them.

We used to just slap each other’s balls from behind without getting wet.

I really do not get men getting all skeeved out about being naked with other men, and I suspect its primarily an American thing.

Open showers all through high school, lived in close quarters with other men for years in my first job I don’t give a fuck about your junk Johnny, but I swear to God if you show up at the sauna with your stinky ass workout clothes, I’m gonna pour water on those rocks until you think you’re suffocating.

Yes. I didn’t really care so much though. If it was at the end of the day I wouldn’t bother but I hate being sticky with sweat.

Of course there were separate M/F showers.
