Easy hike passing by several water slides on the way to the main falls, surrounded by even more water slides. Some large rock outcrops and an old pig iron furnace add to the trip.

Roaring Run Falls splits into two as it drops down. Not sure if at higher water they combine into one; also appears that to the right it gets much wider.

Turkey Tails have completely colonized this stump.

Old pig iron furnace. Sign has diagram of cutaway and the layout of iron pouring out to the ‘sow’; multiple ingots of iron being fed like piglets from a main flow of molten material. Also states that 1 acre of trees would provide the charcoal for 24 hours of furnace time.
